    Επειδή μεγάλωσα ως fan των Depeche, σε μεγάλη ηλικία ανακάλυψα ότι και άλλα τραγούδια τους είχαν αναφορές σε bdsm καταστάσεις.
    Προσωπικά θεωρώ, ίσως και λανθασμένα, ότι οι Depeche υποσυνείδητα επηρέασαν την σεξουαλική μου συμπεριφορά και κατά συνέπεια την ζωή μου.

    Υπάρχει βέβαια και η δήλωση των DM ότι όλα τα τραγούδια του Songs of Faith and Devotion έχουν γραφτεί για τη σχέση τους με την ηρωίνη, αλλά με αρκετή ευελιξία ώστε να μπορεί να τα εκλάβει κάποιος όπως θέλει.

    Αν θέλεις κάτι πιο ευθύ, δοκίμασε το Strangelove. Είναι το αγαπημένο μας.
